Matt Dumba was picked 7th overall in the 2012 draft by the Minnesota Wild organization. Dumba is a member of the WHL's Red Deer Rebels. Dumba is a strong physical Blue Liner, that not only players good D- but can also create off his own stick and put the puck in the net. Dumba was a solid pick at 7th for the Wild and has to potential to be a franchise D-Man down the road. Great return from a big prospect.
Nick Schultz was drafted 33rd overall in the 2000 daft by the Minnesota Wild organization sound blue line play night in and night out. Nick was delt to the Oilers at the trade deadline for Minnesota born D-Man Tom Gilbert. Nick signed 3 of 4 cards I sent and kept one as I offerend (kept the Oilers OPC refractor , I was hoping he would take on the three score cards. lol oh well.). This is a great return from one of my favorite players to ever wear the Wild sweater.
ADDY: C/O Houston Aeros Jason Zucker was taken 59th overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2010 Draft. The 2012 WCHA Rookie of the Year made his NHL Debut last year for the Minnesota Wild vs the Florida Panthers (after his college season). It only took two games for Jason to record his first NHL points that were against the Stanley Cup Champs LA Kings, where he had two helpers in a 4-3 win. Zucker in his first full year of Professional Hockey has got off to a Great Start with 5 points in 4 games, with 2 of those points Zucker lit the lamp. Jason Signed and inscribed his number 16 on all four items. This is a great return from a big time prospect in the Wild Organization. Thanks Jason.
Drafted back in the 1993 Amateur draft the winger has been a little bit of a journeymen in the NHL. Andrew spent the most time in one spot with the Wild (two stints). Andrew is known throughout the league as a physical and very durable player. His scoring has went down as he has got into the latter stages of his career but at one time score 83 points with the Av's in the 06'-07' season. Andrew is currently with the Hawks Andrew signed all four of my cards perfect and inscribed his number 15 on all of them annnnd returned them in a very quick 8 days. Thank you Mr. Brunette.
Matt Cullen the Minnesota Native was drafted 35 overall by the Duck in 1996. Matt is currently with the Minnesota Wild. I have to say Matt Cullen is one of the class acts in the league today. Cullen was a big contributor in the2006 season for the Canes where he had 18 points in there Stanley Cup campaign year. Matt signed one card (tiny smudge) and a Captain Assistant "A" for me and also inscribed his number 7 on each. This is a very unique return from one of my favorites in the game today. Martin Havlat was dealt in to the Sharks this summer in the Dany Heatly trade that also sent Brent Burns to San Jose and Devin Setoguchi to the land of 10,000 lakes. Martin was taken 26th overall in the 1999 draft by the SENs. Martin was one of my favorite WILD players even though only playing 2 seasons with the club. Martin signed 3-3 cards and one jersey card that I got for a dollar (only way i would ever send a nice jersey card out lol). Thank you Mr. Havlat.
Niklas Backstrom has been one of my favorite goalies for a long time. He has spent his whole career in net for the Minnesota Wild. Niklas owns most of the career records for a goalie for the Wild. In the 08-09 Season Niklas was one of the All-Star Goalies for the Western Conference Team. These cards were sent to his place in St. Paul and all returned in great shape with a very nice auto along with inscribing his #32. I was very surprised that the cards came out perfect because when the envelope arrived the whole top was missing? But everything worked out and turned out to be a great success. Dany Heatley was traded from the San Jose Sharks to your Minnesota WILD this summer. Dany was drafted 2nd overall in the 2000 draft by the Atlanta Thrashers. Dany is a 4 time All-star along with Being NHL MVP in 2003. Dany is one of my favorite players in the NHL. Dany singed perfectly and with inscribing his number 15. Filip Kuba the 03-04 All-star currently plays with the SENs who are having a good year and looking to make a playoff run if the goaltending can hold. Kuba is a big smart defensemen who eats up ice time every night. Defiantly wouldn't mind him back in MN along with other good defensemen we always let go (Nick Leddy for one). Filip signed all for of my cards and inscribed his number 17. All four cards came out great and this is a great Ottawa return! I like the SENs and I hope they make a run this playoffs.
